Well, welcome to all the new ones then.

I'd been away for a bit under a week and since then I don't seem to be able to catch up on the new posts (in a reasonable time) that's why.

Guess that means more work for the mod's, so that leaves me saying thanks for a good job you all do!

Is it me, or is the forum much more active the past week? And does that mean we have a lot more participants? So, has the action of posting the link to notpron anywhere and everywhere paid of?

John Peel, talking about way back when... I used to lisen to him on BFBS, when I was still living near the German border. And of course later on when he had his own program on VPRO radio (a Dutch station) Always new and fantastic music...

@ elvisyo, yes I know, that's why the record player is still on top of the audio-set. But it seems so much hassle now-a-days to put on a vinyl, I'd really liked them to be on cd. Hall & Oats, didn't like them then and still don't like it. Too mushy for my likings. Level 42, nice band and I do rememb...

We're almost of the same age, so it figures.

And speaking of that time, The Specials, Madness, The Cult, Anne Clark.

And for the odd one out, Jacques Brel, I've always loved him...

Edit: This all reminds me, I really should play those vinyls more often, or better, copy them on cd.

I'm somewhat broad orientated, though I really never have been into metal and very little into dance, trance etc. But what I seem to be missing overhere is new wave, The Clash, The Waterboys, early Simpleminds etc. Old Soul, James Brown (!) Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding. Apart from Elvis, what about Chu...

With you Bazje, but I have to admit that we're a strange people. Making all the effort trying to speak any different language we come across.
As for the electronic notepads, nah, I'm kinda old fashioned. And it's easier to put arrows and such from hint to hint in.

My 2 cents in the discussion. If the e-book really generates money, plug it a bit more. I've always thought to order it once I'd finished the positives (so soon...) I don't know yet, but is there a BIG reminder on the end of the positives about it? As for paying for the negatives. I'd do that if the...

Hmmm, I'm on 79 and I'm really very near to the end of an entire A4 notepad dedicated to notpron. And I only started using that after stumbling on lvl 16. If I'd been doing it with stickies, I'd probably be having a yellow office by now :D
