Nightwish is quite okay, saw their concert in Stockholm :)

I don't really have a definite music taste... as long as things stay within the borders of metal :p every kind of metal works more or less. :D

rofl :D saying that and calling yourself the biggest metalfan just doesn't work, love ;)

And yeah, I like most metal personally :)

I don't like the shallow unskilled crap Slipknot does though ¬_¬ sorry.
Each to their own I guess..

edit: evanescence, korn, slipknot, disturbed /o\

Get out of that phase already :\ it's time to move up.

Don't listen to crap like you're just 13 and getting into music.

ps: I personally like Dillinger Escape Plan a lot atm (well actually, it's just what I'm listening to now), but I wouldn't try putting bands in a list, and I wouldn't even think about saying "this band > *" or whatever. It's stupid /o\ it won't work :) no band is the best :o

Dillinger Escape Plan (mathmetal) is wonderful, I also like the Dutch nu-metal band Dreadlock Pussy, and that's about all the metal I _really_ like.
Evanescense or Nightwish however you write it ain't 'goth', well, it might be, but it really depends what you call goth yourself :)
I personally like to call Evanescence and Nightwish teen-metal (maybe even teen-goth, if you want to)
Real (known) goth music would be industial, like KMFDM, MDFMK, Nine Inch Nails and more psychadelic music (goa, psytrance) like Infected Mushroom.
Those four names I mentioned, I like alot, from time to time :)
I prefer alot of diffrent styles, atm I'm listening to alot of punkrock and digital hardcore (Atari Teenage Riot)
I also listen to Kruder/Dorfmeister and Kreidler, Kraftwerk is amazing and sometimes some techno/tekno can be quite nice too.

Fuck sake I don't even know what I'm talking about, probably not even a good story but oh well :P

KMFDM, MDFMK and Nine Inch Nails are idd Industrial :\ I see how it could be called 'goth' ;p but it's not goth music imo /o\
(For those who don't know, it's kind of what Ramms+ein and Rob Zombie grew out of --> Industrial Metal, though you should really hear it..Industrial is quite cool)

I'd call stuff like Within Temptation Goth Metal..but what do I know?

Goths listen to a lot of things I guess..anything Industrial, Viking or Pagan? ^^; I don't know shit I guess ¬_¬
I'm guessing it also changes with every new generation of goths :)

ps: I don't like Infected Mushroom o_O but gg on you D:
I wub ATR and early Kraftwerk though :D lol <3

soad has got too mainstream pleasing for my liking but in my eyes they still create the most interesting metal sounds, korn is good to but sound a bit more generic...
