Spiderwebs aren't sticky at all, you just should wash your fingers more often :D

How come nobody's answered that yet?
Apphex wrote: You must be a first-year physics undergrad, or maybe taking the first year because it is required for whatever bio or chem thingy you happen to be majoring in. Or maybe that rediculous formula you quoted comes from the load of crap they teach high school physics students.

Anyway, the m^1 that you wrote is wrong, and even if it were correct, it would be meaningless (anything raised to the first power is itself, rendering the ^1 a redundant and superfluous waste of space) The formula is F(g) = [Gm1m2/(r^2)]<r>

Notice the use of r instead of d. You will learn more about this when you get into advanced multivariable vector calculus that deals with spherical coordinates. The r arises because forces are DIRECTIONAL, not only magnitudinal. The inverse of the magnitude of the distance is something you intended to include, but you forgot the direction, which can only be accounted for if you multiply the whole thing by the unit vector <r>. So if you are going to do this correctly, why have a d^2 followed by a <r>? You wouldn't, of course, because d and r are really the same thing, but <r> certainly is not.

I think some people don't actually get that the answers don't have to be sensible :)

How do nerves work?
Actually, not at all, mine are unemployed. They do not go to work anyway, they just hide inside my body. Pretty lazy fellows, I should have a talk with them.

Edit: Oh, I just had a little talk with them, they say they have a job in the harbour, driving forklifts. I don't know if they can be trusted, though.

They tend to work as busses. Because people get on busses and people also get on nerves :) Simple logic really :)

P.S If anyone want the above logic don't ask lol it's too long to post :)

So, they could also work as trains and trainers :D

Heh, heh, trainers. :)

But, no, no, no, they work in the harbour driving forklifts, and only that. They were quite certain of it when I asked. You obviously don't know your own nerves as well as I do mine. I fully understand that, since they are pretty unfriendly.

Yes, you speak true, it fits together. They have been lying to me all along.

Nerves are getting on my nerves now. And they are inside my body doing their filthy business, all the while pretending to drive forklifts. They have no decency at all!

Can anyone use simple logic to say that a mouse is made of cement?

Well, mice are grey, and so is cement. Of course mice are made of cement then, it's so obvious I shouldn't have to explain it. ^^

Can anyone come up with a longer string of logic than that ;)
We could make a bit of a competition out of it lol. Whoever makes the most logical links wins :) I'll post mine tomorrow ;) Havent got enough time now lol

OK, I got a really tricky question for you. :)

What do you think humans had looked like if God had been drunk (OK; let's assume he wasn't) when he created us?

And, yeah, let's just for this once believe that God does exist. :)

Well, I don't think I'll win the price :D

Every windows version uses a mouse.
And the only windows version with letters instead of numbers (well, until XP ...) are windows CE, ME and NT. Seeing that, the developers of a certain kind of mice decided to make them of cement :D They got that popular that other manufacturers of mice became jealous and made their mice also of cement. This is why you can say that mice are made of cement :D
